世界遺産、納得の行くところから「どうしてここが？」というところまで様々とはいえ、やっぱり[highlight]旅行していて近くに世界遺産があったら立ち寄ってみたくなる[/highlight]のも心情では。なんとなくこういうリスト的なものがあるとコンプリート欲、コレクション欲出てきますよね。

In any case, it should be an undeniable fact that gaining the brand of World Heritage has a great influence on the tourism industry.

This time, the registration was a bit unfavorable due to some conflicts with a neighboring country, but I personally think that I made a much better decision than being rejected because of my pride.

So I’m going to add to my own list of things to visit that have recently been officially registered.

Industrial Revolution Heritage Site in Meiji Japan « Nirayama Refectory » from Iron and Steel Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, and Coal Industry

まずはこちら。「明治日本の産業革命遺産 製鉄・鉄鋼、造船、石炭産業」から[highlight]「韮山反射炉」[/highlight]です。これはこの春に訪れたばかり。

反射炉とは、鉄を溶かし、大砲を作るための溶解炉です。そして、この反射炉を中心とし、当時としては最先端の工場があった場所が国指定史跡「韮山反射炉」です。（出典：http://www.city.izunokuni.shizuoka.jp/hansyaro/sekaiisan/sekaiisann.html）

この複合世界遺産に関しては、他には「萩城下町」、「松下村塾」、「旧グラバー住宅」にも訪れたことがあります。最近はこうした複合的なものが増えたような気がします。

I checked this blog to see if there were any other newly registered places that I had visited and found a total of four.

The viticultural climate of Burgundy

続いてはフランスです。[highlight]「The viticultural climate of Burgundy」[/highlight]は、4年前フランスの最も美しい村巡りの途中に立ち寄りました。

It is one of the most famous wine regions in the world. It is the holy land of Pinot Noir. In this area, the wine is of course delicious, the food is delicious, the scenery is beautiful. The city is beautiful. There are many beautiful villages and world heritage sites. It is one of the areas in France that I am most eager to revisit.

The hills of Champagne, the houses, the cellars

フランスには、もう一つ今回新しく加わったところが。[highlight]「The hills of Champagne, the houses, the cellars」[/highlight]です。シャンパーニュといえばこの広大な光景が印象的！ドライブ中にはお馴染みの光景。特に5月のGWの季節に行くと、遥か遠くまで続く広大な麦畑と菜の花畑に感動します。

しかし、シャンパーニュ地方って行ったというよりは通過したといった方が適切かもしれません。でも、中心都市のランスは観光しておりますので、訪問履歴にカウントしたいと思います。そういえばランスのノートルダム大聖堂も世界遺産でした。しかし、「エペルネ」は絶対に行かないといけないですね。

Palermo’s Arab-Norman buildings and Cefalu and Monreale Cathedrals

よく調べると[highlight]イタリア・シチリア島のパレルモ[/highlight]も登録されていました。2014年に訪れています。

Monreale Cathedral was in the suburbs of Palermo, wasn’t it? The photo reminded me of it.

Speicherstadt, Kontorhaus district and Chilihaus

ここはドイツ・[highlight]ハンブルク[/highlight]です。もう10年前になりますねー。写真はかろうじて残っていましたが、ハンブルクの街並みですら良い写真が残っていなかったので、写真掲載はなしです。また行かないと。北ドイツは改めてドライブ旅行したいです。まだあの頃はヨーロッパドライブを行っていませんでした。
