Date of visit: April 17, 2011, around 5:00 p.m.
Oh, by the way, we passed through a village called Giverny on the way, which is famous for being the motif of Monet’s painting. I remember that there were many tourists there. I just passed through it for the time being, but I tried to review the video just now to see if there was any left, but there was none. What was I doing…?
Well, I got to the village safely, but this village was also a little difficult to find a parking lot. I found a space like this around the exit of the village and parked.
Now, let’s take a walk around the village. This village is really rustic and different from La Roche-Guyon. There are no splendid chateau or fort. It’s really just a walk.
There are no splendid chateaus or forts. You really just walk around.
I thought to myself, « Finally, this year’s tour of beautiful villages has begun. This is the kind of trip I wanted to do, you know. No guidebooks, no particular places to see, just an ordinary, simple village.
Well, I didn’t book any hotels on this trip except for the first and last one in Paris. « I think on the spot. On this day, I decided to stay in Rouen, a city in Normandy. I’m going to that city anyway. (To be continued)
