Autumn travel diary in France. This is Arles. This is the third time for me, but the first time for my parents, so I went there. I never imagined that I would visit this place three times when I first came here in 2006.
I wandered around the city and parked at a good spot, which was right in front of the amphitheater.
I don’t have a guidebook, so I strolled around with a hazy memory.
It was a beautiful day, surprisingly beautiful.
My parents wanted to see a café famous for Van Gogh’s paintings, which is a staple of Arles sightseeing, so we went there, again on a hazy memory. I was lost!
But I was able to get there safely while doing some random research on my iPhone.
I thought it was a dusty town as usual, but that’s the charm of this town. It’s a small town, but I think it’s well worth a visit.
プロヴァンスは車でなくても十分楽しめることができると思います。もちろん、車であればより一層楽しむことができると思います。運転もしやすいですからね。
