Date of visit: May 13, 2013, around 4:00 p.m.

The village is located on the same D964 road, about 15 minutes by car from Brunikel, so we were able to reach it without getting lost at all.

The weather had cleared up tremendously while we were looking at Brunyckel Castle, so we were blessed with wonderful weather for the entire drive here to Puyersee, as well as for the entire time we were exploring the village.

I was in a good mood so I took a lot of videos. I tried to edit them properly.

The nearby towns of Albi and Montauban make me wonder how many times I’ve passed through their vicinity.

Nevertheless, three years ago I did not visit Bruniquel, Puyersee and Castelnaud de Montmiral, the beautiful villages along the same road that I will visit later.

At that time, it was my first time to visit beautiful villages and I was not used to it, so I had a hard time to find each village on the map. Therefore, even though there were still many beautiful villages nearby, I was getting tired gradually, and above all, I think I was getting a little bored because I kept seeing so many villages at once in a short period of time.

However, this is the third year of this trip, and I’ve gotten used to driving and looking for villages, and above all, thanks to the Google Map navigation system that sometimes appears in the video above, I can reach villages almost without getting lost, and I can visit various villages with much less trouble than before. I think I can visit various villages with much less trouble than before.

And the reception is definitely better than it was three years ago.

Well, we found a parking lot safely and started sightseeing. This Puy Selsey is also a castle city on a small hill. It looks like a bastide after all.

In the village, the very beautiful stone design of the city is as you would expect.

Late afternoon at 3pm is one of the hottest times of the day in the South West France region. Because of this weather, we had to take a walk in the shade to cool down from time to time.

The walls that cover the city are very impressive.

It’s on high ground, so the views from the village are as you’d expect!

We returned to the car after a round of the village and took pictures of the beautiful scenery we saw on the way to the village.
