One of the best examples of fast food is the burger shop, and we’ve been there several times.
But only twice, I think. Quick » in Toulouse when I didn’t have time before the concert, and McDonald’s on the way back from Moncontour when it was too late at night to go to the restaurant.
Both of them are familiar chains in France, and what both of them also had was the « automation of ordering and vending machines ».
You can order while operating the touch panel.
English is also available.
Operation is easy if you look at the picture on the screen and do it appropriately.
When you finish your order, you can choose to pay by credit card at the machine or go to a special cash register to pay for your order.
I really wanted to use my credit card, but I made a mistake and had to pay at the register.
But receiving the register was smooth.
On the other hand, Mac’s, which I visited later in the day, had a similar vending machine.
It’s basically the same operation.
Now pay with your card at the machine. In that case, you can wait at your seat and they will deliver the product to you.
So, this ordering machine is very convenient. I wish they would introduce it in Japan too.
But this was especially true for Mac’s, but it also seemed like this ordering machine wasn’t being used much at either store. There was a huge line at the cash register for direct verbal orders, but the machine side was empty.
こういう合理化は確かに欧米のほうが導入するのが早い気もしますが、こうした機械を使いこなすのはやはり日本人のほうが得意なのかなって思いました。
