Date of visit: May 13, 2013, around 1:00 p.m.
I’ve been driving around Toulouse and Montauban for so long that I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve driven around these cities.
There really is a concentration of beautiful villages in the Midi-Pyrenees!
Following the pilgrimage route back to Santiago de Compostela, we arrive at Roserto, the third beautiful village of the day.
The road leading to the village is beautiful. It’s getting a little cloudy. Are you okay?
The village was built in the Middle Ages in the 12th century. The town flourished as a fiefdom of the Toulouse Nights, a feature common to all the beautiful villages in this area.
A magnificent church.
The central square is still reminiscent of a bastide.
The cobblestones in the square are turning up! Quite a stylish effect.
And without saying, the village is on the pilgrimage route « Le Puy Road » in Santiago de Compostela.
The cats in this beautiful village have a certain elegance about them.
The view from the village on the hill was very beautiful.
Finally, we went inside the church.
We get in the car again and head to the next village.
