Date of visit: May 9, 2012, around 3:00 p.m.
This beautiful village in Provence was another village I wanted to visit last October. After all, the mountain road is steep. The road climbs up to 1,000 meters above sea level. We saw wild deer on the way…
However, I was able to arrive more easily than I thought without getting particularly lost, probably because I’ve already driven the roads around here many times.
But still, this stunning weather!
Follow the road to the village and park your car at the parking space at the entrance of the village and start sightseeing.
By the way, I came through this way.
By the way, I just switched places with a Frenchman who seemed to be renting a car and visiting a beautiful village by himself, just like me.
The village is quite simple and small. We started sightseeing from this entrance.
I thought the state of maintenance of the village was quite good.
The road to the old castle on high ground.
The old castle is a ruin as you can see. However, I thought it was such a ruin with a very good taste and a good atmosphere.
The church may have been rebuilt, but I think it was relatively new.
The buildings are well preserved and the village has enough remnants of medieval times. It’s just a bit difficult to visit.
