Date of visit: May 6, 2012, around 2:00 p.m.
This day is the most extensive and beautiful village tour of the trip.
The third stop on our 5/6 tour of beautiful villages was Balazuc. It was a little cloudy in the morning, but the weather tended to improve in the afternoon. There were a lot of clouds, but the sunshine was strong and the weather became sweaty.
This village is in the Rhône-Alpes region, but it is very close to Provence in the south of France.
After following a rather narrow mountain road, you will suddenly see this beautiful village along the river in the valley. Very impressive!
When I looked back on the road to the village, I saw another nice watchtower.
Cross this bridge to enter the village. The bridge is wide enough for one car to pass through, but not so narrow.
We parked our car in the parking lot right after crossing the bridge and headed for the village.
As you can see, the bridge we just crossed.
The watchtower seen from the village side. It is just on the other side of the river.
The village seen from the other side of the river is very beautiful, but of course the inside of the village is also very beautiful. It is worth taking photos.
And there are many souvenir shops, restaurants, and shops where you can have a small snack. I think it can be said that it is a village that puts a lot of effort into sightseeing among the beautiful villages.
It’s not an easy village to get to, but I think there were a surprising number of tourists.
大満足大充実の美しい村でした!
