Saint-Paul for the second time – 2011 France

Then we came to Saint-Paul, the eagle’s nest village representing the Côte d’Azur. We will stay here today.

This is the first time for my parents and the second time for me, having visited five years ago.

But this is the first time I’ve stayed in this village; five years ago I was staying in a small village a little further away from here.

So, the hotel we are staying is the one we found in Saint-Paul during our trip 5 years ago. As I wrote in my 4travel diary above, I had a dinner here. I couldn’t forget the impression I had at that time and I wanted to go there again, so my wish came true.

I hadn’t been to the village in five years, and I’ve already seen many beautiful villages during that time, so I was less impressed than I was then, but I thought it was a nice village to walk around again.

I missed it five years ago at the time, but there were a lot of these artistic monuments. Didn’t they have them back then?

By the way, I was able to park my car in the village, but the road was so narrow that I almost died ^^.

I went along this road, but it was too narrow for one car. It is hard to understand in a photograph, but after crossing this stone bridge, it has become narrower.
