2011 France fall

It’s been half a year since I visited the most beautiful village in France for half a month. I haven’t finished writing my travelogue yet, but…

And we’re going back again this fall! A tour of the most beautiful villages in France. Departure is this Saturday.

But this time, I’ll be with my parents for a week, so I can’t push myself like I do when I travel alone.

Well, France is a very big country. This time, we will visit the south of France. Cote d’Azur and Provence. First of all, we fly from Paris to Nice and rent a car there. The flight to Nice is early in the morning on Sunday, so you can spend almost a whole day sightseeing after renting a car on Sunday. After that, you can go to Marseille by heading west. We will return the car there and go back to Paris.

I went to this area last year and five years ago, so this is my third visit. But it was the first time for my parents. So, we will mainly visit major tourist attractions such as Arles and Avignon, which are also world heritage sites, so we may not be able to visit many beautiful villages.

But the south of France is also a treasure trove of beautiful villages, and I’m sure I’ll visit about 10 of them.

I mean, I’ve booked a hotel in a beautiful village. Yes, this time, I booked a hotel in advance.

The beautiful village is « Gordes ».

This is the place I went last year. And we will be staying at the hotel we stayed at then again. It’s a relief to know the location.

In reverse order, we are staying in the village of St. Paul, the Eagle’s Nest, which we also visited five years ago, here. At that time, we did not stay here, but we visited the restaurant. It was chosen for one Michelin star, wasn’t it? I wonder how it is now.

The one I’m personally looking forward to the most is Les Baux-de-Provence.

I went there 5 years ago, and it was actually one of the most beautiful villages in France. I didn’t know the existence of the most beautiful village in France at that time, so I didn’t notice it at all.

It is a very beautiful village and I would like to visit it again.

Then there’s Marseille, which I’ve never actually visited before, even though I’ve been on the side of it a few times. Because of my flight, I stayed here for one night and took time to visit for a whole day. I’m looking forward to the bouillabaisse there.

どうやらMSN天気を見るかぎり来週の南フランスは天気がよいみたいです。とっても楽しみです。
