After leaving the St. Isaac’s Cathedral, the example « theft » occurred. Immediately after that, we came here « Petropavlovsk Fortress (Петроградская крепость) ».

I don’t have a DSLR lens at this point anymore, so my photos will be iPhone and PowerShotS90. The SLR lens was quite a pain, but I was still really fortunate to have several cameras to replace it.
From the cathedral we took the metro back to « Gostiny Dvor » again. To be honest, the metro in St. Petersburg isn’t very convenient…
Now a few minutes walk from the nearest metro station, you will reach this fortress. The atmosphere on the way from the station to the fortress was very nice. Why is that?
This fortress used to house political prisoners at one time, but today it is more like a peaceful park. If you just want to enter, you don’t have to pay anything.
It is colder than I expected because it is Russia in October, but it is very nice to walk around. It’s wonderful to have good weather!
However, to be honest, the lens of the SLR camera was taken away, and I was worried about the future of the correspondence there, so I feel that I could not do sightseeing with a calm feeling.
But there’s no point in worrying about it too much, so I decided to climb the wall surrounding the fort for a change. There is a fee here. It’s hard to see with backlighting, but you can climb the wall from the stairs here.

As I was looking at these scenery, I began to feel a little calmer, so I decided to start here again! I called my credit card company in Japan to inform them about the theft of my SLR lens and to ask about the future process. I used Skype to call them at a very low price. It’s great!
I took a picture of the SLR without the lens just in case. I thought it might be useful for something. (It didn’t really help, but…)
