Date of visit: May 5, 2012, around 12:00 a.m.
Puy de Dôme, the third most beautiful village at 12 o’clock on this day, is second only to the Dordogne in terms of density.
It is almost due east from Saint Floret. It took about 30 minutes by car.
As you can see from the photo at the beginning of this article, Usson is a beautiful village perched on a small hill.
But as you can see, the weather was not so good that day, and it was raining on and off here.
The road leading to this place was very nice, but to be honest, the inside was rather ordinary.
First of all, the parking lot was surprisingly difficult to park.
It wasn’t that narrow and the hill wasn’t too steep, but it was kind of hard to park….
Because it rained from time to time, we could not take many photos and went sightseeing lightly.
If the weather had been clear, the view from the hill would have been even better.
The day’s tour of beautiful villages will continue. After this, we will go further into the Haute-Loire department.
