The Languedoc-Roussillon region is also a treasure trove of beautiful villages. Minerve is about an hour to the west of Orargues, which we visited just before.
Just before we arrived at the village, we started to see a clear sky. Good, good.
We went to the parking lot through the road that leads to this kind of village.
There is no mobile phone signal in the area but the road condition is excellent. Before entering the village, we took a picture of the whole village. This looks promising!
The parking lot of this village was a few minutes walk from the outskirts of the village. It was paid, but it is well maintained, so it is very easy to visit, and I feel that they put a lot of effort into tourism. It is in contrast to Olargu just now.
The road leading to the village from the parking lot is gently downhill.
It is a beautiful village with only a few houses and guns.
It is also full of nice alleys.
Before parting, we took another photo from outside the village.
Carcassonne, a World Heritage Site, is not far away, so if you have a car, you can easily plan your trip to this village. I recommend it.
