The date changed to October 11. This day, we started our sightseeing from Les Baux-de-Provence, one of the most beautiful villages in France, which is about an hour away from Gordes.
Actually, what I was looking forward to the most in this trip was to visit here. Because I had visited here once before, five years ago in July.

This was my 52nd stop in 2011, and my 82nd stop in total, and it was originally the first one I visited. But at the time, I didn’t know about the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, so I was completely unaware of its existence.
Now, this village, the ruins of a former castle town, is one of the most beautiful villages in France, representing Provence along with Gordes.
As a very popular tourist spot, there are many parking lots, many souvenir shops in the village, and hotels and restaurants in the village as well as an auberge just outside the village.
It’s true that it’s not easy to get to without a car, but it’s not far from major cities like Arles and Avignon, so it’s probably one of the easiest to visit among the nearly 150 most beautiful villages in France.
Even though it is now a ruined castle city, it is still well worth seeing.

But it was very windy here. It was hard to keep my eyes open.
And finally, at the entrance to the village, I took a picture of the ruined castle along with the car.
We were very happy to be able to come back to Les Baux-de-Provence and, above all, to be able to visit it under the same sunny conditions as five years ago.
