ちょっと出遅れてしまいましたが、iPhone 4Sをようやく手にしました。

We don’t know much about the new iOS5 features yet, and we don’t know much about the specs of the new iPhone, but we’ll get to that.
ところで今回のiPhone購入、実はソフトバンクオンラインショップより予約しました。
The reason for this is that I just couldn’t find the time to line up at the store on October 7, when the reservation started.
On Friday the 7th, after finishing my schedule, I tried to access this Softbank online shop at around 9pm, and contrary to my expectation, I was easily connected.

I’ve gotten emails like, « Contact us to request this application, » or something like that.
If you receive a « notice of acceptance » two days after your application, or
I finally got a roundabout way of saying, « We’re starting the shipping process. »
You’ll get a « shipping confirmation. »
« Finally arrived two days after the release date. »
It was a little troublesome, but the procedure itself was very smooth.
Well, the fact that it was two days after the release date was not a problem because it happened to be related to my trip to France. You can also specify the time, but it seems to have arrived on time. But I didn’t seem to notice it even though I was at home, so it was put in the delivery box…
Finally. In my case, I have two Softbank lines for my iPhone, and this time I bought 4S as a replacement for the new sub-line I tied up when I bought 3GS two years ago, but in that case, I have to do the switching of the USIM card used for 3GS by myself.
I don’t mind doing it myself, but I was wondering why this procedure, which of course has to be done online, can only be done between 9:00 and 19:00.
Fortunately, the contract for the iPhone 4S is for a sub-line, so I tried using the SIM card of the main line of the iPhone 4 that I’m using right now by inserting it into the iPhone 4S, and I was able to use it without any problems. Of course, I’ll have to switch the USIM of the sub line, but for now, it’s a relief.
なお、iPhone 4Sへのデータの移行は、昨日行ったiOS 5インストール後の復元作業と全く同じでしたので一切問題なくできました。
