Before you know it, it’s already midnight. The third village in Alsace today, the most beautiful village in France, is Hunawihr.
The village is almost next to « Riquewihr ». It is only a few minutes drive away. Very close.
However, it was a very simple and quiet village in contrast to Riquewihr which is crowded with tourists. You can hardly see any tourists.
But it is surrounded by vineyards, just like Riquewihr. I walked a little higher up to get a panoramic view of the village.
Then I went for a walk in the village. I only see the locals are walking around sometimes, tourists are only me, or maybe there was a couple of elderly people.
Like Riquewihr, the houses are Alsatian, but for some reason, they look calm.
There was only one restaurant, but it was there.
I was troubled whether it was good to go because it was just lunch, but I gave up because of the convenience of various times.
Now, we head to the symbol of the village, the church.

I stayed for about half an hour, but I felt I was doing a « beautiful village tour » in such a quiet place without tourists. It was a very relaxing stay.
Next we will head to a beautiful village slightly further away from here. It will still take you 30 minutes to get there.
