Bordeaux is well known. But Bordeaux is the name of a city. You may think it is a region or an area somehow.
My second visit, it’s a very beautiful city and I can’t wait to come back. Less than an hour from Saint-Emilion.
I didn’t want to get lost, so I parked my car in this parking lot where I parked two years ago. We also decided to stay at a hotel within walking distance from here.
This circular shopping center is quite interesting to see on a map (satellite photo).
It was a little cloudy, but when I got out of the car, the sun was shining. The weather was good, but it was actually chilly.
It was my second time to visit Bordeaux, so I just walked around. We bought some souvenirs and spent some time at a cafe to relax after a long drive.
In the evening, we had a solid meal at a restaurant near the hotel.
Everywhere you eat around here is delicious.
I took very few photos, partly because it was my second time and partly because I was tired.
You didn’t actually enjoy it? No, no, no, not at all. Just walking around the city is enough to enjoy. I prefer this style rather than visiting this and that famous place.
Compared to Paris, Bordeaux has very little to offer and is perhaps a bit boring for a city of its size. However, it has a different beauty and atmosphere than Paris. It’s also quite large, but not so large that you can’t explore it in a day.
Maybe that’s why I like it here so much.
After all, the drive that day was only from Saint-Emilion to Bordeaux, and we didn’t walk around Bordeaux for such a long time, so we were very tired.
