Hato Bus Debut, TOKYO Panorama Drive by « O Sola Mio

10. Hobby General

The other day, Sunday, under cloudless skies, I made my Hato Bus debut!

TOKYO Panorama Drive by ‘O Sola mio’, an open-top bus without a roof!

When I bought clothes at a department store the other day, there was a lottery, and I won a Hato Bus ticket. So I decided to use it.

It was a reservation on the day, but I was able to reserve the « TOKYO Panorama Drive » of hope without any particular problem.

I booked a plan to start from Marunouchi South Exit. I’ve walked around this area many times before. Every time I walked, I always wished I could take the shuttle bus.

Wait for a while until departure. There are souvenir shops and

There are Chinese, Japanese, and sushi restaurants in the area.

Well, this course is very popular sightseeing in Tokyo!

I’ve been to almost all of them in person, and I’ve driven by car, or rather, I’ve driven by car on this course more times than I can count. But when it comes to the view from a double-decker bus, that’s something to look forward to.

The 14:00 session leaves in three buses.

Is it a pretty popular plan? Both of them are almost full.

The first thing that struck me was how close the signs were!

I’m a frequent driver in Tokyo, but I never see a sign this close in a passenger car. That alone is interesting!

Even on the capital highway this close! It’s pretty scary (laughs).

This second-floor window tour of Tokyo’s landmarks was more fun than I expected.

Marunouchi!

Parliament House!

Tokyo Tower!

Rainbow Bridge!

Ginza!

And finally, Tokyo Station again!

あっという間の一時間。いつも過ごしている東京、また新しい発見ができたと思います。楽しかった!
