Well, I’m already preparing for my Golden Week trip. As I announced, I’m going to Spain.
I had only decided to watch the F1 race in Barcelona, but I also decided on other destinations.
I did my preliminary research every time, and of course I did a lot of research on the Internet, but I also bought a book anyway.

Normally, I would walk, but it would take a long time and I can’t take that much time off, and I’m not motivated by faith, so I’m very sorry, but I’m going to travel by car. It seems that we will not get a certificate instead.
I’ve also marked it on Google Maps for now.

It doesn’t seem that hard if you are in a car.
Puente la Reina – Estella – Logroño – Santo Domingo de la Calzada – Burgos – Castrojeris – Saagun – León – Astorga – Ponferrada – Villafranca del Bierzo – Pedrafita do Cebreiro – Parras de Rey Santiago de Compostela
In fact, there are many world heritage sites in Northern Spain. I’d like to stop at the world heritage sites on or near the pilgrimage route as much as possible.
It is a little bit difficult to move around, but we will rent a car in Barcelona and go to the pilgrimage route, and return to Madrid from Santiago de Compostela, so we will be able to stop at the following World Heritage Sites.
Mudejar Architecture in Aragon – (1986, enlarged in 2001)
Burgos Cathedral – (1984)
Old Town of Santiago de Compostela – (1985)
Pilgrimage route in Santiago de Compostela – (1993)
Las Meduras – (1997)
Roman Walls of Lugo – (2000)
Yuso and Suso Monasteries of Saint-Mijan – (1997)
Archaeological Site of Atapuerca – (2000)
Monuments of Oviedo and the Kingdom of Asturias – (1985, enlarged 1998)
Tower of Hercules – (2009)
Old Town of Salamanca – (1988)
University and Historic Centre of Alcalá de Henares – (1998)
Old Town of Avila and Churches Outside the City Walls – (1985)
By the way, this time I flew to Paris and drove south from there. About a week later, we will return the car at Perpignan near the Spanish border and go to Barcelona by train.
In this first part of our France drive, we hope to visit some of the most beautiful villages in France that we have not been able to visit this year.
